Every creature on Earth, every planet of the solar system, and every creation in the Universe has some purpose. Each material, either living or non-living, plays a vital role in this enormous composition of God. They have their “why.” Finding meaning in our existence is the most comforting part of our journey.
Five years ago, at the beginning of my writing career, I read the book “Ikigai.” Ikigai is based on a Japanese Philosophy that conveys “your reason for being.” It talks about a small island in Japan named Okinawa, where the highest population in the world is above the age of 100 and lives a joyful life.
When I completed this book, the first thing I did that many people usually ignore, was to “introspect.”

In this quickly evolving world, people waste their crucial time judging, following, and baffling but forget to dive into their cores and find their “why.” They fail to uncover the purpose of their lives because they try to find answers through others.
“Introspection” is the only key that unlocks your “why.”
I remember. I met my Ikigai in 2020 when I wrote ten lines of my first poem. I was pursuing my bachelor’s degree, and my writing journey hadn’t started. I wasn’t a scriptwriter, author, or poet.
I wrote those few lines while observing nature’s changes during COVID-19, and soon, people began to recognize me through my words. I received highly appreciable comments and messages. That day was something different. I felt another energy in me.
The first time, I asked myself, “whether my words have any potential?”
I sat in a silent corner and tried to dig out my roots. I repeatedly asked myself, “Is observing and authoring my “why?”” “Is creating, entertaining and educating my “why?”” “Is writing is my “why?””
I was constantly drowning in the world of words, feeling connected more to the writing field than my high-paid B-Tech degree.
That wonderful feeling of admiration and sharing my thoughts confidently, pulled me towards the writing world with a great force of attraction.
Through introspection, I laid the foundation of my writing journey and found answers. Soon, writing became my medium to communicate, educate and entertain.
I was very shy and introverted, but when writing came to my life, I got my “why.” It was magical and worked like a dumb person got a voice.
Today, I have written multiple books, including “Prakriti,” “Unrecognised” and the Novel: Are These Your Words? Part 1: An Anonymous.
I am a scriptwriter at KUKU FM and have written five successful audio stories, including Bajirao, Abki baar Kiski Sarkar? UT Edition, Bundela Yoddha Chatrasaal, Super Commando Agastya and Khiladiyon ka Khiladi.
My poems, articles and quotes have been published in anthologies, magazines and websites.
I have developed several screenwriting projects as an intern, and now, I am working on my own short script, feature film and web series.
It all became possible because of introspection. You should introspect regularly to find your purpose.
Once you discover your “why?” The entire Universe will begin to work for you.
Two years ago, I read the book “The Secret.”
The book states that the Universe works on the law of attraction. It has every force that connects with your energy. If you manifest negative pictures and thoughts, they will back you as negatives. If your mind has positive beliefs, they will deliver you positive outcomes. We are solely responsible for all incidents in our lives, as the law of attraction does not discriminate.

I remember. When I obtained my “why,” I could sense as though all the energy of the universe was working for me, helping me evolve in the writing journey. It supplied me with every medium, every direction, and every source of knowledge to profoundly learn about the writing world.
It all happened because I was introspecting and attracting everything by my manifestation and curiosity about writing. I devoted, learned and created. Soon, my knowledge became a source of generating revenue.
You can also discover your Ikigai and get your “why.”
The process can take a day. A few weeks. Months, and even years. Just introspect.
You work on your commitment honestly and with discipline and let the universe do theirs.
And, at last, see the miracle!
Good Luck, writers!
